Privacy Policy

Dyblin Daniil (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the Voks mobile application (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the App.

By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

1. Data We Collect

1.1 Data Stored on Your Device

The App stores the following data locally on your device only:

  • Custom phrases, themes, and communication boards you create
  • App preferences and settings (language, voice selection, display options)
  • Dialogue history and saved conversations
  • Onboarding progress

This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to export or share it. We do not have access to this data.

1.2 Data We May Collect

We may collect the following data to improve the App:

  • Analytics data: anonymous usage statistics such as feature usage frequency, session duration, and app performance metrics. This data is aggregated and cannot be used to identify you personally.
  • Crash reports: technical information about app crashes, including device model, operating system version, and crash logs. This data does not include your personal content.
  • Device information: device type, operating system version, and app version for compatibility and support purposes.

1.3 Data We Do NOT Collect

  • We do not collect your phrases, communication boards, or dialogue content
  • We do not collect voice recordings or speech data
  • We do not collect your name, email, phone number, or other personal identifiers through the App itself
  • We do not use your data for advertising or sell it to third parties

1.4 Purchases

If you make in-app purchases, all payment processing is handled by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment information (credit card numbers, billing address, etc.). Please refer to Apple’s Privacy Policy for details on how Apple handles payment data.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use the collected data solely for the following purposes:

  • To provide and maintain the App’s functionality
  • To identify and fix bugs, crashes, and technical issues
  • To understand how features are used and improve the App
  • To communicate with you regarding support requests (only if you contact us directly)

3. Data Processing and Storage

3.1 On-Device Processing

All core App functionality — including text-to-speech synthesis, phrase management, and communication features — is processed entirely on your device. No internet connection is required for these features.

3.2 Data Storage Location

Your personal data (phrases, settings, dialogue history) is stored exclusively on your device using the device’s local storage.

If analytics or crash reporting services are used, aggregated anonymous data may be processed by third-party services. We will update this section with specific details if and when such services are integrated.

4. Third-Party Services

The App may use the following third-party services:

  • Apple App Store — for app distribution and in-app purchases
  • Apple Analytics — for anonymous, aggregated usage statistics (if enabled by you in your device settings)

We will update this section as additional third-party services are integrated.

5. Children’s Privacy

The App may be used by children, including as a communication aid. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since the App functions primarily offline and stores data only on the device, children’s data remains under the control of their parent or guardian.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access all your data — it is stored locally on your device and accessible to you at all times
  • Delete all your data by deleting the App or clearing its data through your device settings
  • Opt out of analytics data collection through your device’s privacy settings
  • Request information about any data we may hold by contacting us

6.1 Rights Under Russian Federation Law (152-FZ)

In accordance with Federal Law No. 152-FZ “On Personal Data” of the Russian Federation, you have the right to:

  • Receive information about the processing of your personal data
  • Request correction, blocking, or deletion of your personal data
  • Withdraw consent to the processing of your personal data
  • Appeal actions or inactions related to the processing of your personal data to the authorized body for the protection of the rights of personal data subjects (Roskomnadzor) or in court

7. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information. Since the App’s core data is stored locally on your device, data security is primarily maintained through your device’s built-in security features (device passcode, Face ID, Touch ID, encryption).

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy within the App and updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this document. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
